I recently read about a new drug plan that will save P.E.I. taxpayers $1.2 million.

The article statedthat this savings was announced by Premier Robert Ghiz. Wow, sounds like good public relations.

Also the Ghiz Liberal government saved $1.8 million last spring, pulling roughly 1,000 seasonal workers out of their jobs. So I believe this adds up to a $3-million savings on these two agendas.

But now let's go look to the plan B highway project to see again how much it cost taxpayers of this province to put people out of their homes.

Last time I checked, the land purchases to date amounted to $3.86 million and another $4 milliontowards other purchases.

If this is correct, then the Ghiz government only has to save another $4.86 million to fully cover the cost of buying the rest of the land for this Plan B highway.

It's also nice to see that this provincial government has priorities, maybe not good priorities, whatever way one looks at it.

Maybe when the next election rolls around, the people of the province will have had enough of this government.
