Editor:

We at the Canadian Cancer Society, P.E.I. Division, were saddened to learn of the death of 38-year-old Tammy Dawn Scully.

Tammy was a volunteer with the Society for more than 15 years. She came to our office most weeks, accompanied by an assistant from Tremploy. Tammy took on the somewhat tedious office tasks that needed to be done. She would patiently sit by the paper shredder and tell us how much fun she was having.   She faced her challenges with grace and dignity and always had a smile on her face. Tammy eagerly gave back to her community and was recognized by the Canadian Cancer Society with a Volunteer Award. She may have been small in stature, but Tammy Scully was big in personality. Her contribution made a difference and we will miss her.

Holly Smith,

manager of volunteer services,

Canadian Cancer Society,

P.E.I. division
