Editor: Shame on The Guardian for running the breathless press release advertising the pro-abortion conference at UPEI this week. Shame even more for allowing the unqualified use of deliberately euphemistic language like "reproductive justice" that hides the violent nature of this procedure whose goal is to end a human life, and which has been chosen by American pro-abortion activists to target traditionally anti-abortion minority communities.
A news source should give balanced reporting of both sides of issues, especially contentious ones, not run free advertising for one side parading as news stories. And for the record, as a single, low-income, twenty-something student, I am exactly the kind of person pro-abortionists want to target. But these people don’t speak for me. I expect better from my local news source.
