Editor: Before the appointment of a replacement senator for P.E.I. is considered, I would like to suggest the country from which his/her ancestors came is not the most important question but that he/she is an Islander and lives on our Island, knows the issues of importance to Prince Edward Island.

Followed by honesty, can understand the necessity of that honesty and is not a political yes person to anyone but has a active mind with the ability to vote what they think is in the best interest of all and meets all the financial and other requirements that are required when becoming a senator.

Now, is that a dream or could it become reality?
