Editor: There have been many letters regarding abortion. I read one that basically said the unborn baby wouldn’t feel any pain if aborted. Really?

I am not a medical person but have taken first aid courses. The basic principle was, if there is a heartbeat, there is life.

According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the unborn baby has a heartbeat two to three weeks after conception. The heart is actually pumping blood with a steady rhythm. There is life.

I do not want to be responsible for taking any life or allowing doctors to come to our province to take life.
