Editor: I have been steaming over this for some time and so now add my voice to the chorus who have commented on the tasteless, offensive and downright embarrassing skit/impersonation presented to the royals.

Shame on Mr. Lynch and more so, the insensitive organizers of the event.  Surely a more entertaining and professional skit could have presented by any one of the many talented theatre groups on the Island.  Like many others, I do not find humour in the gratuitous mockery of others by they royal or not.  This, like the pun, is a low form of humour and should have been left in the washroom where it belongs.

Yes, an apology to Clarence House/Royals (regardless) would be appropriate and would perhaps encourage another Royal visit in the very near future together with the influx of  tourists it brings. Will someone please step up to the plate and deal with this.

Joy Jackson,
