Editor: With regards to Mr. Jenkins letter on Wednesday I am sure that there were other people as appalled as I was at his tirade.

Let's set aside the abortion debate for a second and get to the heart of his letter. Did anyone else feel that had this letter mentioned another God worshiped in this world, it would have sounded like a radical extremist terrorist?

I would like to give Mr. Jenkins the benefit of doubt but I really believe that he doesn't get how he comes across. Threats and damnation from an individual should not carry the day. Your God and mine are obviously two different ones.

The rights of individual choice should always prevail and to use any god as intimidation reeks of ego and self-righteousness. These things have no place in the abortion debate.
