Editor: Why does the Harper government feel a need to use the likes of Pierre Poilievre to promote The Fair Elections Act? The man comes across as a chihuahua doing a very poor imitation of a pit bull. With an apology to the pit bull, at least a pit bull has class and dignity.
Anyway I would like someone to explain to me why in the name of all that is reasonable and fair can the Chief Electoral Officer not take an investigative role, and the big one, can no longer run ads encouraging people to vote.
This one is completely beyond me. I think it is time for Gail Shea to write another editorial piece where she explains this.
Her opinion and I mean, her opinion, would offer some insight into this rather dangerous assault on democracy in this country.
