Editor: The letter to the editor in The Guardian on Feb. 24, “Misinformation common in debate” by Carol Capper, caused me to reflect on the word “shame”.

Could it be that there are no testimonies from the unhealthy, unadjusted women who had an abortion because of “shame”.

Holly Pierlot’s well-written and thoughtful letter, as I see it, wants help for the woman and the baby.

I notice that names and numbers of the friends and family members of Carol Capper were never mentioned. Misinformation would lead us to believe the abortions from Carol Capper’s friends and family members were heathy and everyone was well adjusted with wonderful families. Wow.

I was recently in the U.S. and a news report states abortions are on the decline. Could it be because science proves that it is actually a baby in the womb (a human baby).
