Editor: It is with sadness I read Holly Pierlot’s commentary in the Feb. 21 Guardian (“No killing in the ‘Land of Tarn,’ or Ms. MacQuarrie, where is your imagination?”).

I wonder why people must use misinformation and distortion of facts to put forward their point of view. Mind you the government, both federally and provincially, are past masters at that.

I have had an abortion myself, also friends and family members. All of us are healthy, well adjusted with wonderful families. I thought that I should read the testimonies in the silentnomoreawareness site.  A quick look produced no testimonies, just invitations to write in.

Wonder if I wrote to them would they publish my letter?
