Editor: It’s a well known fact that today’s society is subject to a spineless system of laws that pamper criminals. Victimized innocents and we, the public in general, are frequently left dumbfounded, confused and angry as we shake our heads in disbelief at the verbal drivel that emanates from the mouths in our courtroom representatives.

We pretend it’s OK to overlook what is required of us to respond to situations that demand reasonable action.

In my opinion the recent incident involving a Charlottetown cab driver demands justice for the innocent driver and a well-deserved trip to the courthouse for his self-declared (we ain’t gonna pay) robber passengers.

Ivan Bulger,

Charlottetown.
