All-day parkers perpetual problem

Editor:  Coun. Mitchell Tweel isn’t going to solve the problem of all-day parkers in his ward because there are no restrictions to enforce since the city would need to pass a new bylaw which I doubt it will do.

Coun. David MacDonald has a committee working on a new parking plan however buying vacant lots and installing more parking meters won’t solve it either because every city in North America faces similar parking problems.

When city council permits new development to be built without providing the parking spaces needed such as the Holman Grand Hotel then you are part of the problem and not the solution.

I see “Parking Problems Forever” no matter how many parking garages are built since it’s a problem we can live with.
