Editor: Today’s Guardian has a full-page ad from the Government of Canada called “Canada’s Wireless Policy: More choices. Lower prices. Better service” where it tries to dispel some myths on foreign companies getting special favours from the government.
The ad says it’s not true, and goes on to say “The fact is Canadians pay some of the highest wireless rates in the developed world.”
The government is bragging about this? And using our (the taxpayers) money to do it?
Imagine the cost in the national papers! Let me nominate this as the dumbest thing the Harper government has done this year.
I imagine, however, they’ll find a way to top it.
