Editor: The Ghiz government has been in power just over five years and their worst failures to date are: 1. They have failed to balance one budget in five years and keep adding to the provincial debt. 2. The political decision to create Health P.E.I. to administer the health-care system. 3. The political decision to create one provincial English School Board. 4. The decision to spend up to $40 million on creating an electronic record keeping system for 100 GPs and two acute-care hospitals. 5. the decision to keep on building more wind farms to supply 30 per cent of the needs of Maritime Electric which we sell at eight cents/kwh and it costs taxpayers more than double that price to produce it so we are losing millions on this deal.
The more wind power sold the more we lose so why drive ourselves deeper in debt? Only the premier knows for sure.
