Tips throughout the evening about a pre-planned fight in Summerside led police to find two individuals fighting and a large crowd gathered in the parking lot of a Granville Street restaurant shortly after midnight Thursday.
Summerside Police received several calls from the public throughout the evening indicating that pre-planned fights were going to be taking place in this particular parking lot. Police patrolled the area and there were no disturbances until shortly after 12:30 a.m. when an officer discovered the altercation and the crowd.
