P.E.I.’s fire marshal’s office hasn’t been able to determine what caused a fire that destroyed a home in Greenvale last month.

On Feb. 21, a woman took her dog for a walk and returned to find her house engulfed in flames.

The New Glasgow Fire Department responded to the fire, but wasn’t able to save the building.

The fire marshal’s office ruled the cause of the fire as undetermined because of the level of destruction the fire caused.

To Hate Wood Stoves: I'll take your bet and give you 50 - 1 odds. There's no woodstove in the house.

I will bet anybody it was a no-good-for-nothing wood stove. Use electric heat. It is the safest and cleanest.
