Two arrests early Sunday, two suspensions eary Saturday

People drinking and driving kept the RCMP busy over the weekend with two arrests Sunday morning.

At around 2:40 a.m., the RCMP were on patrol in York when they noticed a suspicious vehicle.

The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested.

That same day at around 5:30 p.m. in Cornwall, the RCMP pulled over a vehicle that had been travelling in an erratic manner.

The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested.

Saturday morning a driver in Stratford who blew a warning on the roadside screening device had his licence suspended for seven days.

A few hours later, a youth in Dunstaffnage had his licence suspended after the RCMP found he had alcohol in his system.

    the government should start taking the cars from drunk drivers no mater who owns the car and sell it and use the money for the families that the useless drunk drivers impact on PEI.
