prom dress consignment
Anyone with a dress they are wanting to sell can drop it off at Stratford Town hall Thursday or Friday
The Stratford Youth Council's annual prom dress consignment sale is back for another year on February 26 and 27.
Anyone with a prom dress or accessory they would like to sell is invited to bring it to Stratford's town hall this Thursday or Friday morning.
"Each individual will pay a $5 fee (one per person regardless of number of items) and if their item is sold during the sale, the Stratford Youth Council retains 20 precent of the sale," said a statement from the sale organizers. "Items not sold will be returned to their owner."
The drop-off runs this Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. plus Friday morning from 8 a.m. until noon.
Then the sale opens to the public on Friday from 3-9 p.m. and on Saturday between noon and 6 p.m. with a fashion show from 10 a.m. on Saturday until noon showcasing the dresses available.
“This annual sale supports the ongoing work and operation of the Stratford Youth Centre and the many events and activities the youth want to put on,” said Duane Pineau, youth and family coordinator with the town.
