Drives his vehicle into an unoccupied SUV Monday in Maximeville

A driver is facing impaired driving charges after hitting an unoccupied vehicle with their SUV on Monday in Maximeville near Abram-Village.

The driver struck the vehicle and went off the road before coming to rest in a ditch.

The East Prince RCMP officer responding to the accident noticed the driver showed obvious signs of impairment by alcohol.

The driver was arrested on the scene and later provided two breath samples that were over three times the legal limit.

The driver will appear in court at a later date.

    Another drunk driver, imagine good thing they hit an empty vehicle and didn't kill anyone! Not stiff enough penalty's for drunk drivers, if you are legal age to drink you should be legally responsible for you drinking actions also!
