ROSEBANK – RCMP believe that poor weather conditions contributed to at least three vehicles being involved in minor collisions in West Prince on Sunday afternoon.

The accidents occurred between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. in Rosebank, which is west of Bloomfield.

RCMP Cpl. Al Vincent, with West Prince RCMP detachment, said injuries in the collisions were minor as officers, local fire departments, and Island EMS responded to the scenes.

There will be no criminal investigations into the accidents, said Vincent.

“Weather conditions were a major contributing factor. There were high winds at the time, and snow was blowing across icy roads.”

The road was closed for less than an hour.
