Not everyone is displeased at the recent snowfall - just ask Dalton Gass and his sister, Mackenzie, as they play on a hill of snow.

Special weather statement released for province

A special weather statement from Environment Canada says P.E.I. may receive another snowfall Monday night.

The statement, which was issued around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, includes all three counties and says accumulation is not expected to reach 15 cm.

While a statement has been issued for P.E.I., Environment Canada meteorologist Jean-Marc Couturier said Nova Scotia will be the most affected province.

It is currently the only Maritime province with a weather watch, although that could change.

“For P.E.I. and New Brunswick we’re going to hold off and just watch our models for the next 12 hours or so,” said Couturier. “It’s not likely snowfall amounts will reach 15 cm (in P.E.I.) but if there’s a change in the track, we may have to correct that.”

The possible storm would be caused by a low pressure system which will intensify as it tracks up the U.S. eastern seaboard Sunday.

Environment Canada advised Islanders to continue monitoring alerts and forecasts.

Anyone looking to report severe weather can send an email weatherASPC@ec.gc.ca or tweet with the hashtag #PEStorm.

And someone in Ontario won $60 million with a Lotto Max ticket last night, and if I had won, then a good accountant and a good attorney could have shown me the way to the Bridle Path in Toronto. That's an expensive area of our nation's largest city, but I would have done really good with $60 million dollars.

And here I am replying to my own comment, but this rely is for HUH !! I don't take any meds, just some advil if I need it, and my comment was about Toronto the Good, where I've lived half my life so far, and that's where my life will come to an end. And as for Monday, I don't like Mondays and wanna shoot the whole day down. I enjoyed lots of snow in my younger daze, but I'm not young anymore, and every time I hear global warming mentioned, then I feel like screeching.
