Liquor commission says there was disorderly conduct, selling liquor to intoxicated patrons

ELLERSLIE – The liquor license for the Royal Canadian Legion in Ellerslie is currently under suspension.

A four-day suspension, imposed by the P.E.I. Liquor Control Commission, is in effect from 9 am. Monday, Feb. 1 until 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5.

The liquor commission imposed the suspension because it believed the legion violated regulations dealing with disorderly conduct and selling or supplying liquor intoxicated patrons.

Obviously the stories we hear in Charlottetown about the hard drinking tough guys from Prince County are NOT true. They can't handle their liquor up there.
