I created the GoFund account for Brodie, and I honestly hope that no one who made a donation regrets doing so or feels taken advantage of. I wanted to help a close friend who was, and is still going through a tough time. Also, I believe that majority of those who did make a donation were friends and family of Brodie, who support him and believes his innocence. Every one has the right to choose to believe whatever they want about this incident but please try and remember that just because something is written in a paper does not mean it's the truth.

Now if these two men can arrange to come up before Judge Douglas, he has a special on this week where you get a fine of $3. for any 4 offenses and you get a suspended sentence.

If you haven't already donated for the gofundme, you can donate for the lawyer fund at the schedule benefit for Brodie on January 30. Hopefully he'll share with Matt Clarke.

A lot of negative news coming from that neck of the woods. I think a renaming to "Unpleasant Grove" is in order

Now that the whole story has come out, all those people who donated to Brodie's GoFund Me account must feel pretty stupid. If you break into someone's house and assault them, you deserve to get shot. Maybe they can get a refund.

Sounds like self defense which thanks to Mr. Harper is legal in Canada. Why was he held in jail for so long?

Nice to see that some people fed into the whole "GoFundMe" joke that was going around on behalf of McQuaid who was injured and recovering in Halifax. What a laugh..... so we should probably give money to people who commit armed robberies and are injured to.... give your head a shake.

  • now go fund that

Well now...I hope people feel really stupid with supporting the go fund me account that was set up to help the cons.
