Making images of a suspected burglar public has sent tipsters heading to their telephone.

RCMP Sgt. Leanne Butler says police have received tips both through P.E.I. Crime Stoppers and directly to the Queens District detachment.

“We’re working on them,’’ says Butler.

“It will take time to work through them. We take every tip seriously and investigate each one.’’

When a break-in occurs If the police would tell us in what general location it happened and the approximate time frame we could try to recall if we saw anything out of the ordinary. Something that seems innocent on any normal day/night might be worth looking into if we knew a robbery had occurred. If this person or persons haven't been caught yet I doubt they are doing anything to attract attention to themselves.

sadly enough police can not release this info due to the law of protecting the guilty. and police not being told sooner like my home was broken into between jan 2 and jan 8th have people not heard of having someone to check yr place at least once a day.

You know...just putting this out there, but perhaps this burglar already knew the windows he cut the screens on, were unlocked. Again...just putting this out there, maybe he was already inside the homes and unlocked the windows, before committing the offenses. You know, like a service technician, or any other person conducting service, or repairs inside homes. Or there's an accomplice who's legally permitted inside these homes and unlocking the windows for this burglar. Just sayin'!
