Everyone is welcome to attend an organizing meeting this Saturday to help mount a refugee relief fundraiser later this month.

The organizing meeting will take place 2 p.m. Saturday at Timothy's Coffee shop on Great George Street, Charlottetown.

Lloyd Dalziel, chairman of the International Sustainable Community Association (ISCA), says plans are in the works for the fundraiser to take place at the Farm Centre on Thursday, Oct. 22.

The fundraising event will feature a variety of musical acts, including Dino Dunsford, Al Tuck, Dean Dunsford, the Open Source Jam Band, Jon Redher and Amanda Rae Gallant, with other performers being announced at a later date.

The Upstreet Brewery has agreed to provide support and resources to aid the fundraiser.
