The P.E.I. chapter of The Children’s Wish Foundation will host Wishmaker Walk For Wishes on Saturday, Oct. 18.
Taking place in Charlottetown, Summerside, Montague, North Rustico and Tignish, the event allows families, individuals, corporate and community groups to collect pledges that ultimately help grant a wish.
The walks in P.E.I. will occur simultaneously with a 1 p.m. registration and 2 p.m. walk. Celebration and prizes will follow.
All money raised will help the foundation continue granting wishes to children between the ages of three and 17 who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
