When people think of a border collie they usually think of a medium sized dog, usually black and white, that is good at herding sheep.

That is correct, but they are also good at herding ducklings, ducks and geese, and probably many other animals found on farms as Heidi, one of the dogs at Pembroke Farms near Pamure Island, showed Saturday. She and her owner were at the Caledonia Club of Prince Edward Island's 150th Highland Games and Scottish Festival.

The event featured highland dancing, kids track and field events as well as the heavyweight athletic competition, massed pipe bands and of course lots of music that would melt the heart of any Scot and make them dream of the homeland. The games were held in Lord Selkirk Provincial Park in Eldon and ended Sunday afternoon.
