A 37-year-old Donagh man was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle after driving the wrong way up a one-way street Saturday.
Charlottetown police laid two impaired driving charges over the weekend.
A 37-year-old Donagh man was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle early Saturday morning.
Police were conducting routine patrols on Fitzroy Street around 2:54 a.m. when they observed the accused traveling the wrong way on a one-way street.
When police stopped the vehicle they determined the driver was impaired.
He will be appearing in provincial court at a later date.
The afternoon before, police charged a 49-year-old Charlottetown woman with the same offence.
Police received a complaint at 2:05 p.m. regarding a possible impaired driver on St. Peter's Road.
When police located the accused and placed her under arrest her blood/alcohol was almost three times the legal limit.
She will also appear in provincial court at a later date.
