More drugs seized in Summerside raid

Members of the Prince District JFO Drug Unit arrested a 22-year-old woman and three men ages 29, 35 and 42, Tuesday.

SUMMERSIDE — More drugs have been seized and local police have made new arrests after another bust on South Drive in Summerside.

On Tuesday, members of the Prince District JFO Drug Unit executed a search warrant at an apartment in the city’s west end.

Police seized crack cocaine, hydromorphone, marijuana, cash, two digital scales and a cellphone.

Police arrested a 22-year-old woman and three men ages 29, 35 and 42.

All four were released and will be summonsed to appear in Summerside provincial court at a later date to face a variety of charges.

On June 8, police arrested four people in an apartment on South Drive in Summerside and have now charged 14 people following four busts in Summerside and Prince County in the last two weeks.

    the fines are not high enough nor is the jail time. but the profits on selling drugs well worth it. make the fines to start at say $10,000 to start and jail time 1 year for 1st time and keep doubling it after that.

    I sure hope they are rounding up the QUACKS who prescribe poisons that end up on our streets and in our kids. Those hydroblahblah Pills start at a prescription pad.
