STRATFORD - A Charlottetown teen is facing impaired driving charges after a collision here Friday night.
The charge was laid after RCMP responded to a two-vehicle rear-end collision on the Trans-Canada Highway at approximately 11 p.m.
Both vehicles received extensive damage and were towed from the scene.
Island EMS dealt with minor injuries at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle that rear-ended the first vehicle was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
The driver, an 18-year-old city man, is also facing an additional charge of operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit.
