Morell residents will soon be able to get service from a nurse practitioner as Laurie Brehaut gets set to offer walk-in clinic service at the community office.

Brehaut, who works collaboratively with Dr. Stacey Champion and Dr. Lana Beth Barkhouse in their family practices, will offer weekly walk-in clinics starting June 4.

In a news release, Health Minister Doug Currie thanked the community for its hard work, dedication and collaboration on the initiative.

“Government is committed to ensuring Islanders have access to the primary health care services they need as close to home as possible,” he said.

The clinic will operate every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1-3 p.m.
