The Eastlink Centre will hold P.E.I.’s third annual community sharing day on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
In a news release, committee chair Mike Redmond said the community sharing day is an opportunity to share, recycle and celebrate the giving spirit and generosity Islanders are known for.
“We all have things we don’t need and need things we don’t have,” he said.
The organizers ask people to look for gently used items that could be useful to others, which are then collected and offered free to anyone who needs them.
Drop-offs will be accepted today and Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
All items must be in working order and light enough for one person to carry.
