Charlottetown police cruiser

An 18-year-old Charlottetown woman has been charged with assault after an incident at an Oak Tree Crescent residence Thursday night.

City police responded to a complaint of a disturbance at approximately 8:14 p.m.

Officers said they determined the female had assaulted a 21-year-old man, who suffered minor injuries.

Police said the two knew each other.

The woman was arrested and will appear in provincial court at a later date.

    I don't know either of these people, but I would suggest the victim hope the peretrator doesn't go before Justice Gordon Campbell. Methinks Justice Campbell will find a way to twist things around and blame the victim for getting her upset enough that she committed the offence in the first place, order him to pay her compensation.
