The Shadow of the Cross, a contemporary Tenebrae cantata for Good Friday, was performed at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Charlottetown Friday morning, April 18, 2014. Choir members included from left to right Nettie Morine, Charlotte Massey, Carol Macdonald and Ed MacLaren. 

The Shadow of the Cross, a contemporary Tenebrae cantata for Good Friday, was performed at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Charlottetown Friday morning.

A five-piece orchestra accompanied the moving choral music sung by a choir.

Music filled churches across Charlottetown and the province as parishioners marked the religious holiday observed primarily by Christians commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary.
