Install left hand turn signals. It will stop the accidents. Most accidents on the by pass are because of turning against traffic.

If you even so much as glanced at the picture, you'd see that it's at the Ch'town Toyota intersection. That intersection has left hand turn signals in all four directions. What's your next bright idea?

The problem IS the left turn signal. A large vehicle turning left into the Eastbound lane blocks the view of a car turning left into the Westbound lane so you can't see oncoming vehicles that are going straight through the intersection. There should be no option for a left turn while the straight away is green. 20 million blown on a useless bypass and simple light changes could make our roads far safer.

For you idiots that have never driven in a real city, left hand turn signals are for left hand turns only. It is a separate light for the turn only. you clowns are talking about an advance arrow. So the next time you want to put any insults towards another person, do your f#$&in homework.

@problem...if drivers used due caution and did not turn when vision was obstructed your concern over safety would not be needed. If people drove defensively in the first place (like few islanders do) the roads would be a safer place. Don't blame the government, blame drivers
