Hey kids, do you remember where your classrooms are? You'll be reunited today.

The English and French language school boards say schools are going ahead today, but on a one-hour delay.

Students at Montague Intermediate School will have access to grief counsellors at the school today and will be dismissed at 11:45 p.m. when buses will transport students home. This early dismissal is to allow staff and students to attend the funeral for Brandon MacKinnon, who was one of the teens who died in the fire at the abandoned Sherwood Greens driving park on the weekend.

There are still about 1,800 Maritime Electric customers without power this morning as crews have been working in challenging conditions to right toppling utility poles and reconnect thousands of homes and businesses.

Weather and road conditions should be better today for Maritime Electric and everyone else who are planning on venturing out after a nasty couple of days.

Drifting snow will be the main impediment to getting around, with the forecast calling for mainly cloudy skies and some flurries. Winds will come from the northeast at 30 km/h, gusting to 50, then becoming light this afternoon.
