The spring storm, affectionately being referred to as "White Juan 2" on social media, is bringing more than snow to Prince Edward Island today.

Weather Network personality Chris St. Clair has also turned up in the streets of Charlottetown this morning, where he is broadcasting live, using such terms as "thunder snow" to describe conditions expected for the Island.

I had to laugh this morning when Chris reported from just beside Charlottetown City Hall that he could feel a "dampness" before the storm. Hate to tell you this Chris but this is the Maritimes. There is almost always a dampness in the air. As someone originally from Ontario I notice it all year round.

    • also a maritimer

Chris is a native maritimer....I'm sure he got the memo about the dampness already.

Hate to tell you Observer , Chris grew up in Halifax , he knows as much or more about damp weather than you do.
