Pedestrian treated for minor injuries after being struck by vehicle in Charlottetown

A pedestrian struck by a vehicle in Charlottetown Saturday was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A 26-year-old Lake Verde man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Saturday for the treatment of minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street Saturday afternoon.

The pedestrian was hit at the corner of Pond and Queen streets, where Charlottetown Police Services responded to the incident just before 5 p.m.

A Charlottetown police spokesman said the injuries were not serious and that police do not expect to lay any charges.
