Snow covers a bicycle during an earlier storm that hit the Island.
It is now spring, but Old Man Winter is not quite finished with us yet as Environment Canada says a winter storm with significant snow is possible for Wednesday.
Because of this it has issued a special weather statement for the entire province - "a very intense low pressure system is forecast to track over Nova Scotia on Wednesday. Very strong winds and significant snowfall is likely with this system.
The public is advised to monitor future forecasts and warnings as warnings may be required or extended. Please monitor the latest forecasts and warnings from Environment Canada at www.weatheroffice.gc.ca."
