Daniel Lannigan, 25, to be sentenced April 17 for posessing and distributing child pornography

Kings County Provincial Court, Georgetown.

GEORGETOWN — A Sturgeon man pleaded guilty to a pair of child pornography related charges in Georgetown Provincial Court Thursday and will be sentenced in April.

Judge Nancy Orr requested a pre-sentence report on 25-year-old Daniel Lannigan during court proceedings and adjourned sentencing on the matter until April 17.

Lannigan was charged last October when RCMP conducted a search of his home. He pleaded guilty to possession and distributing child pornography.

The charges were laid following an investigation by the P.E.I. RCMP Major Crime Child Exploitation Unit after a cyber tip was sent to the National Centre for Missing and Exploited children.

This story seems to be flying well below the radar of all these self righteous folks on here . This must be a upstanding member of the community with strict moral standards seeing as no one has ventured a comment . My thoughts brand them all with a big P for pedophile on the forehead an lock them up for a minimum 10 years .
