Police raid in Georgetown nets green and black

GEORGETOWN — Marijuana and hash were seized during a raid at a residence in Georgetown Thursday evening.

Kings District RCMP executed a drug search warrant at a residence on Glenelg Street. Police also seized money and drug trafficking equipment during the search.

A 49-year-old man was arrested and later released and will be summonsed to appear in Georgetown Provincial Court at a later date to face possession for the purpose of trafficking charges.

    Repression of a mild herb {relative to tobacco and alcohol] made youth get confused and turn to glue sniffing. A lot of young women are becoming public nuisances with the use of crack and various pills. You are the problem not the solution. Keep it up and there will be more theft and prostitution.
