ALBERTON — A 54-year-old O'Leary man had his licence suspended for seven days after being stopped by West Prince RCMP Saturday night.

RCMP stopped the vehicle on Main Street, O'Leary and determined the driver showed signs of impairment. The man provided a breath sample over the legal limit and his licence was suspended immediately.

A few hours later, West Prince RCMP stopped a 65-year-old man from Palmer Road. After failing a road-side screening test, the man was brought to the detachment where he failed the breath test.

He will appear in Summerside Provincial Court in February to answer impaired driving charges.
