RCMP seize large quantity of marijuana in Bonshaw traffic stop

During a traffic stop in the Bonshaw area Friday night due to an erratic driving complaint, RCMP seized a large quantity of marijuana.

The male driver was charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and he was also charged under the Highway Traffic Act for not having his vehicle registered or insured and he was also driving with a suspended license.

He was released and will face a court appearance in March. Police would like to thank the general public in their assistance in reporting these driving complaints.

    He was released and will face a court appearance in March? Let's see now --- no registration, no insurance, no drivers licence, driving erratically with a large stash of pot in the vehicle! The chances of him showing up for his court appearance have to be somewhere between slim and none. In the meantime, guess what he will be doing?c

    thank you RCMP and a thank you to the caller. but soon the governments will make so you can by weed and they can charge tax on it. and then all drugs ill be able to buy at a drug store it is called tax money over health.
