Liquor license suspended for Olde Lobster Factory Cookhouse & Dancehall

The liquor license has been suspended for the Olde Lobster Factory Cookhouse & Dancehall in Charlottetown.

The Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission has suspended the lounge operation for the Olde Lobster Factory Cookhouse & Dancehall located in Charlottetown for a three-day period commencing 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3 up to and including 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6, 2014.

The Liquor Control Commission is satisfied the bar sold, gave or otherwise supplied liquor to somebody under the age of nineteen years.

The suspension does not affect the operation of the dining room at the Olde Lobster Factory Cookhouse & Dancehall, which may continue to observe its normal hours of operation during this period.

    Funny how their facebook page and twitter accounts say they're "closed for renovations" Maybe Mr. Barber doesn't want the bad press for letting minors into his "faux-country" dance bar and getting them all liquored up. Steve's quite the smooth operator.

      Obviously you two dinks don't know Barber very well. He treats his staff, patrons and bands that play here very well and works outside Saturday nights. A mistake at the line doesn't give people the right to call him a liar

    About time they were caught. Every teenager in PEI knew they could get into the Factory. Would be great if these bars started to actually do their jobs and stop serving kids.

      Funny you say that, I know of two of my sister's friends whose fake ID's were confiscated at The Factory Door this fall.
