Maritime Electric cautions to keep kids away from snow banks near power lines

Maritime Electric is reminding individuals to keep children from playing on high snow banks near power lines.

There have been reports in Prince Edward Island of some children playing near power lines after the large accumulation of snow the province has received in the past couple weeks.

“It's important to remind everyone near snow banks to look up and stay away from power lines,” said a Maritime Electric spokesperson.
