Charlottetown police are searching for a thief after responding to a break and enter at a Weymouth Street residence earlier this week.

Police responded to the complaint Thursday afternoon after the resident discovered a number of electronics and copper had been stolen earlier in the week.

The complainant stated that thieves stole a 42 inch Phillips flat screen television, HP desktop computer, war medals and quantity of copper pipe.

Police said anyone with information regarding the break and enter can contact them at (902) 629-4172 or P.E.I. Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

    stealing period is bad but to steal a persons war medals is to me the scum of the earth who ever did it i hope you are proud. and if i had the power i would send you off to war so you can see what it is like you scum butt.
