Charlottetown bypass, from Mount Edward Road to the Brackley Point Road.
An overturned tractor trailer on the Charlottetown bypass caused some traffic disruptions this morning as crews attempted to right the vehicle.
The accident occurred just after 7 a.m.
Bystanders say the truck, which was a New Brunswick carrying a load of fuel, did not appear to be leaking and no injuries have been reported.
Charlottetown police say the truck went too far off on to the shoulder of the road and slid into the ditch.
The eastbound lanes of the bypass between the Brackley Point Road and Mount Edward Road were closed to traffic until a towtruck from Shaw's was able to pull the tractor-trailer back onto the road.
The tractor-trailer was able to drive away from the scene.
