Local residents are being advised that Canadian Armed Forces members are conducting training throughout Queens and Kings Counties this weekend.
The training begins at 7 p.m today when multiple vehicle convoys leave the Queen Charlotte Armouries in Charlottetown, traveling to Alexander Point on Trans Canada Highway route 1 and provincial route 26.
On Saturday the vehicles will be traveling extensively on highways throughout Kings County. In addition a helicopter will be employed for transport personnel. The military personnel will be conducting various patrols and vehicle movement in the area of Kings County.
Members of the public are asked to observe safety instructions should they approach or encounter soldiers conducting training.
The exercises end at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
