Three trucks at the Schurman cement plant in Charlottetown were destroyed by fire Thursday.

The call came to Station Two, the Sherwood location of the Charlottetown Fire Department around 10:30 p.m.

Firefighters found a row of neatly parked cement mixers, cement pumper trucks and other vehicles in the plant yard, some fully engulfed in flames.

Damage is expected to be extensive to a few other vehicles in the line.

Charlottetown police services were on the scene with a team that included a police dog as it looks at the possibility of arson.
