A Charlottetown man who testified at his brother’s murder trial in 2011 is facing his own legal battle after he was charged with two weapons offences.
Jarred Dingwell, 20, has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon.
Dingwell was inside his mother’s house when his brother, Dylan, shot and killed their other brother, Kyle, on Jan. 17, 2011. Dylan was sentenced to five and a half years in prison after he was convicted of manslaughter.
Jarred is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 31.
